Leading the AI Rovo-Powered Unified Data Intake Transformation
I was the first in our organization to introduce and lead the concept of using conversational AI to transform enterprise intake, starting with a challenge that had grown over time: more than 35 separate intake forms across Data & AI. Customers had to understand our internal organization, identify the right team, find the correct form, and navigate different workflows before their request could even get started.
I developed the concept of creating one intelligent front door instead of 35 separate entry points. We built a conversational intake experience using Atlassian Rovo, where customers could simply describe what they needed in natural language. Behind the experience, we designed an AI-powered routing and orchestration layer to interpret requests, capture the required information, identify the appropriate service or team, and route tickets into the right workflow.
I led the initiative from concept and solution architecture through MVP, pilot, governance, and production roadmap, while also establishing standards around triage, prioritization, workflow governance, cross-team dependencies, and delivery visibility.
What made this initiative particularly meaningful was that it didn't stop with our team. As one of the early implementations of this approach within the organization, the concept demonstrated how conversational AI could replace fragmented intake processes with a simpler, scalable model. The approach was subsequently adopted by multiple teams across the enterprise, extending the impact beyond the original Data & AI use case.
What started as an effort to simplify 35+ intake paths into one AI-driven experience became a model that other teams could reuse to modernize their own intake processes.
